Michael Boggs, NZME Chief Executive Officer, says he’s proud to see NZME and two of its people named as finalists across three categories at the prestigious awards.
“The Deloitte Top 200 Awards celebrate excellent individuals and team performances among New Zealand’s top companies, so for us to have three finalist spots is a terrific achievement in itself.
“David is an outstanding CFO who has helped lead NZME through some really challenging market conditions, accelerating our digital transformation strategy and ensuring we continue to drive excellent performance in a dynamic and competitive media landscape. I’m so pleased to see him named as a finalist for CFO of the Year – he truly deserves the recognition. His solid leadership of our three-year strategy, which has led to digital profitability and growth across our digital platforms has also played a big part in NZME being named as a finalist in the Best Growth Strategy category.
“To see Kathryn named as a finalist in the Young Executive of the Year category speaks to her strong leadership and the huge amount of work she’s put into helping accelerate the growth of OneRoof. This has led to us significantly closing the audience gap between OneRoof and the number one property platform in market*.
“Congratulations to all other individuals and companies named as finalists. We look forward to celebrating the excellent achievements across the best in New Zealand business at the awards in December,” says Boggs.
