
AUCKLAND, Friday: Effie Worldwide has revealed the 58 top contenders for the 2024 Global Best of the Best Effie Awards—celebrating the most effective campaigns from around the world.
Among them are two standout entries from Special New Zealand: Auckland’s Last Performance for Partners Life and Wellington’s Silent Night for Wellington City Mission.
Last Performance has already earned global acclaim, taking out the WARC and Cannes Grand Prix and winning Best in Show at Axis. Now it’s in the running for a global Effie.
“To have two separate campaigns recognised as being amongst the most effective in the world is hugely impressive. It shows the effort and rigour we put into every brief, big or small.

The Global Best of the Best Effies spotlight work that’s delivered real-world results, with entries drawn from over 55 Effie Awards programs worldwide in 2023. Campaigns span 25 markets—from the US and Brazil to India and Romania—featuring a mix of powerhouse brands and rising stars.
Judged by a global panel of senior marketers, the contenders were selected for their ability to drive meaningful outcomes at every stage of the marketing process.
Effie also noted the top industries represented: Food & Beverage, Nonprofit, and Financial Services. Strongest showing in categories like Positive Change, Brand Content, and Retail.
Winners of the Global Grand Effie and the prestigious Iridium Effie—honouring the single most effective campaign on the planet—will be announced soon.
