AUCKLAND, Today: Heineken NZ has pulled off a show-stopping 3D billboard in Auckland’s buzzing Ponsonby, designed to highlight the smooth, refreshing vibe of Heineken Silver.
The custom build, featuring a 3D ‘beer pour’ effect, is perched above Ponsonby Central—an iconic spot packed with nightlife, dining, and social buzz.
This bold move is part of a wider campaign running across NZ since October 2024, pushing Heineken Silver as the go-to low carb beer option.
“Heineken Silver is a world class premium low carb lager, and we wanted to bring that same world class quality to our Out-of-Home execution,” said Cormac van den Hoofdakker, Senior Marketing Manager at DB Breweries.
“We had a fantastic opportunity to give this iconic billboard site a creative twist and showcase the smoothness of Heineken Silver in a new and refreshing way.” – Cormac van den Hoofdakker
“A complex build, both creatively and structurally, it brings the smooth, refreshing character of the beer to life in a bold and tangible way. The 3D ‘pour effect’ gives the campaign a striking impact.

Bootleg, a pro at intricate installations, handled the fabrication using custom lightweight steel frames, laser-cut to perfection and built to meet strict safety standards.
Everything was carefully pre-assembled off-site to make sure the final billboard nailed both strength and style once installed.
Ponsonby Central was the perfect fit, thanks to its heavy foot traffic and proximity to top-tier venues already serving up Heineken Silver.
