VAST Billboards appoints Lohnêt Waugh as new group sales director

VAST Billboards has appointed Lohnêt Waugh to the newly created role of group sales director.

Waugh will be joining the company’s leadership team as it continues to expand its national digital out of home network.

With more than a decade of experience in the out of home and digital media sector, Waugh brings a strong track record in agency partnerships and client service. Her career includes roles at iSite Media, QMS Media, MediaWorks and most recently Jolt

Driven to be different

Based in Auckland, Waugh will help lead VAST Billboards’ agency partnerships in the region alongside senior business director Mark Johnstone. Together, they will work closely with planners and investment leads to deliver high-impact campaigns across Aotearoa.

Waugh says: “VAST Billboards’ momentum as a New Zealand-owned business with true national reach is impressive. But, it’s the independent spirit of the team that was most appealing to me.

“There’s a drive here to do things differently with the flexibility and focus to deliver real value for clients. I’m looking forward to working with agencies and brands to create campaigns that make the most of the scale, quality and local insight VAST Billboards offers.”

Lead by strong local talent

VAST Billboards’ head of growth strategy Gary Rosewarne says: “Lohnêt comes with serious credentials in the OOH and media industry and we’re pleased to welcome her to our growing team.

“Her knowledge, relationships and leadership will be key to the next phase of VAST Billboards’ expansion. This appointment reflects our commitment to building a business led by strong local talent backed by the infrastructure and capability to deliver for advertisers nationwide.”
