Recruitment campaign marketing company GoGetta launched on November 13 with the aim of helping Kiwi companies attract more talent and strengthen their brands.
Focused on packaging several elements of the HR process under one roof, GoGetta targets New Zealand’s ‘poachable majority’ – the three in four people open to new job opportunities.
The services combine a full creative team, in-house media buying and recruitment support to streamline hiring – especially when hundreds of irrelevant CVs flood each job posting.
GoGetta CEO and founder Colleen Getley says: “The best candidates aren’t scrolling job boards, they’re busy doing great work somewhere else. We built GoGetta to find them, to blend the reach of technology with the intuition of real people who know how to spot the right fit. It might feel like a surprise to launch an employer focused recruiting company at the height of the unemployment crisis in New Zealand – but right now it’s harder than ever for employers to find good talent.”
Services for all
The company is an evolution of Trade Jobs NZ, which provided recruitment marketing services around New Zealand for the past five years, securing thousands of trades-specific jobs for Kiwi businesses.
The new platform will provide these services across all jobs and industries, which it views as more important at a time where jobs are more scarce.
“The paradox is that with fewer jobs, getting them right and attracting the perfect candidate is more essential than ever,” says Getley.
“At the same time, so many people are applying to each position that differentiating them can feel impossible for businesses. We address that by getting the right ads in front of the right people for the position.”
Amplify human reach
GoGetta harnesses creative marketing to amplify human reach, rather than replace it. It’s been quietly delivering results ahead of the launch, says Getley.
When the Chatham Islands faced a critical skills shortage, struggling for years to fill essential trade roles such as an electrical linesman and an electrician, GoGetta filled the positions within weeks.
“We listened, asked the right questions to understand their employer value proposition, we wrote the ads and campaign copy and designed a social media campaign to attract candidates with the skills and desire to live the Chatham Islands lifestyle. Most importantly we defined and promoted their employer brand, then we put the human touch in by contact, vetting and screening through to interview and placement. Presenting a number of quality candidates, not just one or two, but a choice for the right fit for them,” he adds.
