The New World marketing team was able to snag a triple-billboard placement outside of the New World Pt. Chevalier Store earlier this week, thanks to PHD Media and a last-minute cancellation.
The Foodstuffs creative team was challenged to a tight turnaround – four working days for ideation, approval, production and delivery for a December 1 installation.
The objective was to convey a Christmas-themed message, positioning New World Pt. Chevalier as a destination for seasonal shopping “with all the trimmings”. They used an abundance of relatable, festive food imagery – the associated recipes will also appear in the weekly New World mailer.
The two-word headline, “Season’s eating”, is a playful take on the phrase “Season’s Greetings. It was designed to be quickly understood and to deliver an immediate message that continues to resonate even after the billboard has been viewed.
