Dentsu is celebrating its success as New Zealand’s most awarded media agency for 2025.
Over the past 12 months, its media teams have won 30 trophies across local and global shows. They’ve been recognised at Cannes Lions, Spikes Asia, the Beacons, IAB Awards, Google Agency Excellence Awards and the NZ HR Awards, reflecting the breadth of the agency’s media, effectiveness, digital and people-led work.
Work that moves the needle
Richard Hale, managing director – media, dentsu Aotearoa, says that while awards are not the goal, they remain a powerful indicator of impact and validate dentsu’s ability to deliver work that drives business outcomes for clients, from brand growth to measurable commercial performance.
“We’re incredibly proud of this recognition, not because of the trophies themselves, but because what they represent.
“These awards reflect work that genuinely moves the needle for our clients – commercially, creatively and culturally. That’s what matters most to us,” he says.
