IMANZ supports members with new partnership programme

Independent Media Agencies New Zealand has launched a new partnership programme which aims to support the growth and resilience of its member agencies and media partners.

IMANZ says the initiative identifies and certifies locally owned service providers, then uses the collective scale of the IMANZ community to negotiate terms and access that no single member could achieve in isolation.

The latest tranche of partners include insurance brokerage, end-to-end recruitment, high-stakes negotiation coaching, and real-time salary benchmarking. They join existing trade credit specialists to create a supportive ecosystem, says IMANZ.

“The goal is to remove the administrative and commercial friction that independent leaders face every day,” says IMANZ CEO Simon Teagle. “By vetting these partners at an association level, we allow our members to focus on what they do best, delivering world-class results for their clients.”

IMANZ will expand this initiative to other businesses that meet the needs of member agencies and partners.

IMANZ certified specialist business service providers:

  • Affiliated Insurance – Insurance Brokers

New Zealand-owned advisor built specifically for founder-led businesses. Affiliated focuses on face-to-face relationships and long-term advocacy.

  • Haines

Haines is partnering with IMANZ to support its members with end-to-end recruitment, from role shaping through to offer. The focus is on identifying commercially minded operators who can thrive in agile, high-accountability environments. This sits within a broader focus on helping organisations grow through employer brand, EVP and media, attracting and securing the right people in competitive markets.

  • Kevin Simms

Helping independent organisations tell stronger stories and negotiate more profitable relationships. Drawing on experience from both agency and client sides, Simms works hands-on to sharpen pitch strategies and build commercial confidence.

  • Marsden Inch – Recruitment & Talent Consultancy

  • LiveRem – Real-Time Salary Insights

LiveRem replaces manual spreadsheets with real-time pay data and intuitive dashboards. Integrating seamlessly with payroll systems, it provides live market insights into salaries, turnover and pay gaps.

  • National Credit Insurance (NCI) – Trade Credit Insurance
