NEW YORK, Friday: D&AD has selected five NZ jurors that will help preside over the judging of the organisation’s 2021 awards programme.
The New Zealanders are …
- Design Transformation: Felicity Stevens, strategy director, Alt Group Auckland
- Digital Design: Amanda Gaskin, creative director, Seachange Auckland
- Digital Design: Nick de Jardine, designer & developer, Grafik Wellington
- Entertainment: Pete Baker, film/experiential director & senior partner, The Glue Society Wellington
- Type Design: Kris Sowersby, typeface designer, Klim Type Foundry Wellington
D&AD awards director Donal Keenan said: “The 2021 awards will recognise exceptional work created within the past year in the belief that platforming creative thinking is always
“D&AD’s jurors will once again assemble virtually to review the work – except for the Branding, Graphic, Product, Packaging, Book, Magazine & Newspaper Design and Writing for Design categories, where in-person judging is essential.
New categories
“Multiple new categories this year aim to represent the changing landscape of the creative sector, each being judged by leading figures within each discipline. New categories include E-commerce, Gaming, Type Design and Next Photographer, with additional subcategories within Low Budget and New Realities and Emerging Media.
In total, 94 professionals from across the Asia-Pacific region have been selected to join the juries

The 2021 D&AD Awards are open for entry for just nine more days – to next Wednesday 31 March.
