PHD New Zealand has announced that it has appointed four senior team members into new agency roles.
Longstanding employee Amanda Palenski has stepped up into the position of Creative Integration Lead. This new role dovetails into the agency’s planning team and focuses on the application of creative media thinking across channels and creative collaboration with advertising agencies and media owners.
“With over 20 year’s industry experience and an impressive string of awards under her belt, Amanda is without doubt a star client service lead. She is also extremely passionate about applying creative thinking to media planning and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with media owner partnerships. It’s a great testament to the agency that we can provide talented people like Amanda the opportunity to grow their roles and ensure that PHD stays at the forefront of the industry,” says CEO Nikki Grafton.
Of her new role Palenski says: “It’s no secret that there is a strong link between creativity and effectiveness, and PHD sees a huge opportunity in elevating the role of creativity within media. It’s the stuff that gets me out of bed in the morning and I’m excited to drive this initiative for our agency.”
Chantelle Hurndell, who has been with PHD for over four years, most recently as Group Business Director, has been appointed as Client Services Director across a portfolio of blue chip clients.
Two other PHD veterans Angela Forward and Delaney Collings have also both been promoted to Group Business Directors.
Collings was formerly the agency’s Group Digital Director. Her new role is part of an ongoing stream of work to ensure the planning & measurement of digital and non-digital channels is fully integrated across the agency.
PHD’s Managing Director Abby Parkin says: “The depth of expertise and breadth of experience PHD can offer clients under the leadership of Amanda, Chantelle, Angela and Delaney is best in class. I’m incredibly proud to have worked alongside this awesome team for all these years. There’s no doubting they have been and will continue being a force to be reckoned with, and I’m hugely excited to see all them in action in their new positions.”
The appointments are effective immediately.
