Mac Operator (32hrs per week) / Auckland / $75k

We’re on the hunt for an Intermediate Mac Operator to join an established consultancy in the Heart of Auckland!

This busy role will be part of a tight-knit team, passionate about challenging the way organisations engage and empower their people to perform better. The right candidate will be comfortable with the day-to-day creation of presentations, creating and delivering learning resources for the business and their clients, uploading and editing content for the new website, and be happy to pick up the phone to interface with clients to manage briefs.

Someone who has a creative eye and is passionate about their craft, is a diligent worker, and a nice person will be an excellent fit! You will need to be able to work autonomously and collaboratively when needed, have initiative, attention to detail, and a passion to produce great work.

Technical expertise, efficient outputting, and attention to detail will ensure success in this position – as will the ability to excel in a bustling environment where everyone lends a hand!

This role will be 5 days per week, 32 hours per week. As such, the ideal candidate will suit a 9am – 3pm working schedule. Plus you can work from home 2 days a week!

The breakdown

We are looking for an accomplished Mac Op with:

• Min 3+ years’ experience
• Experienced with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Experience maintaining all files for creative assets
• Ability to liaise with key external & internal stakeholders, agencies, and freelancers

Proven results and experience in:

• Ensure brand integrity is maintained when delivering creative and marketing materials
• Quality file saving, management and outputting
• Interface with clients, take briefs, set up and manage projects
• Interpret briefs to ensure design solutions are on brief, on time, and on budget
• Working with strict brand guidelines for the consultancy and their clients
• Proactive, keen collaborator
• Technically strong in their craft
• Flawless attention to detail
• Strong understanding of pre-press and a working knowledge of print production
• Social media and website content creation
