Following the destructive weather events across the North Island, New Zealand Media &
Entertainment (NZME) announced on Saturday that one million dollars of advertising will be made available across its print, audio and digital platforms for businesses impacted by these events.
These allocated funds will be used to support business recovery and to advertise products and services to help those in need.
NZME Chief Executive, Michael Boggs, said they understood “now more than ever” that local businesses need to communicate with their customers “and we’re here to help”.
Following the announcement there have already been a number of enquiries from impacted businesses.
“Unforeseen closures and damage to warehouse stock have been key drivers for businesses needing to keep their customers in know,” he says.
“We’re allocating the advertising support package based on need right now. Businesses have been incredibly supportive and respectful of what we’re aiming to do, and we’ve seen that those coming forward to take part, are doing it for good reason.
“Recovery from this weather event will be challenging for many businesses over the coming days and weeks, and NZME is here to help. A variety of campaigns with high quality media placements are available for the month of February, across NZME’s network of print, audio and digital channels, so that impacted businesses can be seen and heard by their customers at this crucial time.”
As part of the support package, there are a variety of campaigns available for the month of February,
valued up to $ 5,000, subject to availability.
Impacted businesses can contact their NZME Media Specialist or email advertise@nzme.co.nz for more
information. Terms and conditions apply.
