Kate Lines has been promoted to Head of Business Management at DDB Group Aotearoa.
Since joining DDB Group in 2016, Lines has taken each of her accounts from strength to strength. She was at the helm for TRA’s NZ Ad of the Year and NZ’s Favourite Ad in 2019 for Lotto NZ’s ‘Lost’ and launched AAI’s ‘Live A Little Freer’ campaign in 2018, which went on to take Gold for Sustained Success in 2021. She also led the team to win the brand project for The Warehouse Group in 2022, subsequently launching The Real Bargain platform.
Along with leading The Warehouse, Lotto NZ, and AAI accounts, Lines will take greater responsibility across DDB Business Management.
On her new role, Lines says: “Having worked in advertising for over 20 years and now seven years at DDB Aotearoa, I was looking for the next step in my career. So I’m thrilled to have that opportunity at an Agency I have such love and respect for. I am excited to provide greater support and leadership to the already awesome Business Management team.”
Nikki McKelvie, Managing Director at DDB Group Aotearoa says this is an incredibly well-deserved promotion.
“Kate has never shied away from taking on new challenges, and she does it with huge energy and passion,” McKelvie says.
