Social Media Creative Lead / Auckland / $90k-100k

This booming Australian-based Social Media agency is making a play into the NZ market and looking for a senior lead, Social Media Creative to run and grow the team and create, roll out and manage engaging content for social channels – specifically TikTok.  If you have senior-level experience ideating creative in the social space and can talk to TikTok strategies, this is the role for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, creation and implementation of Social Media programs, both paid and organic, for client partners, with a specific focus on social video.
  • Develop an on-brand social media content strategy for client partners, with tactical approaches for each channel.
  • Leading and managing Social Video (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube) projects through the agency, including allocating responsibilities, providing direction and tasking works across the team.
  • Ideate on-brand social content (with a focus on Social Video/TikTok video content); developing scripts and concepts to be captured, as aligned with the brand’s TikTok strategy.
  • Organise Social Video shoots – including the organisation of talent and location, with the support of other agency staff.
  • Capture and edit Social Video content both in-app Adobe Premiere.
  • Engage the client to demonstrate how tactical content aligns with strategy and gather active feedback.
  • Develop performance reports to share internally and with client partners to share future optimisation of content.
  • Participate in new business pitches and activities, as required.
  • Lead a team of Social Video Producers and Coordinators to deliver social and content works for client partners; being accountable for the integration, management, strategic approach and delivery of all key work streams.
  • Oversee the training and mentoring of junior team members within the Creative and Content Team.
  • Directly responsible for building and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders (internal)

You will be a proficient expert in Graphic Design, Adobe Creative Suite, and Premiere Pro, and a demonstrable passion for social media is a must.  You can work independently and lead a tight-knit team of in-house and freelance content professionals to plan, produce and deliver high-quality creative outputs for clients.
