Full-service independent advertising agency Chemistry has expanded its relationship with Edgewell Personal Care by winning the social media business for Edgewell’s Australian market.
This development builds on Chemistry’s existing work for Edgewell’s brands in New Zealand, including Schick, Bulldog, Hawaiian Tropic, and Banana Boat.
Chemistry has worked with Schick NZ for almost five years, together winning this year’s best use of commercial sponsorship with Basketball NZ in the NZ Sport and Recreation Awards 2024.
Chemistry’s role started with the development of Schick’s New Zealand social strategy which saw the launch of award-winning campaigns Schick Everyday Ballers and Schick Neighbourhoops and grew last year to include the social media management of all key brands in New Zealand.
With a track record of delivering dynamic, results-driven campaigns, Chemistry’s new remit will see the agency managing social media strategy and execution for Edgewell’s portfolio of FMCG brands across Australia.
Henry Smith, Business Partner at Chemistry, shared his enthusiasm for the expanded role.
“We are incredibly excited to extend our relationship with Edgewell across the Tasman. The brands under Edgewell’s umbrella are household names, and we’ve already seen great success in New Zealand. Taking on the social media responsibilities in the Australian market is a natural progression, and we can’t wait to bring fresh ideas and innovative thinking to our wider audience.”
Edgewell Personal Care, a global leader in personal care products, has trusted Chemistry to elevate its brands and engage consumers across multiple touchpoints.
Chemistry’s expertise in digital strategy, content creation, and social media management will play a crucial role in expanding brand awareness and deepening consumer engagement across the Australian market.
Natalie Artinian, Senior Marketing Manager at Edgewell Australia, commented on the new partnership, “Chemistry has been a fantastic partner for us in New Zealand, consistently delivering high-quality, creative social media strategies that have helped our brands connect with consumers in meaningful ways. We are confident they will bring the same level of excellence to our Australian market, and we look forward to continuing our partnership with them.”
