ANZ Bank New Zealand has appointed digital platform Tellus to enhance its agency relationships with TBWA\, PHD, and Track+Tribal.
Tellus’ dynamic, two-way performance feedback and measurement approach will help to drive continuous improvement and collaboration for ANZ NZ, who was named the Brand of the Year at the 2024 YouTube New Zealand Marketing Awards.
Turning ‘whys’ into ‘hows’
“ANZ NZ’s work with Tellus highlights a continued industry shift towards using customer-style insights to strengthen agency partnerships,” says Kaleb Francis, Managing Director – Tellus.
“Much like ANZ’s ‘We Do How’ philosophy, Tellus helps both sides focus on the ‘how’—how to work better together, how to build stronger relationships, how to succeed as one team. With full participation in their first survey, we’re seeing this commitment in action, turning shared ‘whys’ into powerful ‘hows’ through actionable, timely feedback.”

Stronger relationships
Built as a digital-first platform, Tellus provides ANZ’s marketing team and their agencies regular insights into mutually agreed performance metrics, making feedback faster, clearer, and more actionable.
“At ANZ, we believe in the power of continuous feedback to drive excellence. Tellus will give us access to valuable insights and help foster stronger relationships with our agency partners, making sure we deliver the best outcomes,” says Susan Benseman, Head of Marketing Performance – ANZ NZ.
Abby Parkin, CEO – PHD Aotearoa adds, “The two-way nature of Tellus feedback is incredibly beneficial. It enables transparent, anonymous communication about areas where both clients and agencies can improve. This level of honest dialogue is essential for truly effective partnerships.”
