WebMD, Lifescript and health Central are some of the publishers that are booming.

WebMD boasts a traffic of 206 million unique users per month and over 400 billion page views per quarter.

Lifescript is one of the largest women’s health publisher. They have recorded an estimated $4 million in ad revenue over the past 6 months through direct buys.

Health central recorded an estimated $1 million in ad revenue in the past 6 months through direct buys.
Research shows that 72% of all users looking up health information do an online search on such websites.
This is definitely motivation enough to target these websites who are the giants in the online health information market.
