AUCKLAND, Thursday: Resene and its agency Mediastone came up with the idea of recreating some of the world’s most beloved masterpieces using Resene colour swatches.
Phantom Billstickers took to the novelty immediately. “We loved the idea because it’s visual, vibrant and perfect for the poster medium,” said Phantom marketing manager Ben Stonyer.
“A company that’s all about colour deserves an ad campaign that matches its hues.”
“Then we had a chat about taking it to the next level.
“What about painting Phantom’s frames in Resene Gold, to add a touch of gilt to their message? Consider it done.
“A company that’s all about colour deserves an ad campaign that matches its hues. So that’s what we gave them.”
