WELLINGTON, Today: Hot on the heels of their sport agency (EightyOneX), downtown creative shop EightyOne has launched a new media offshoot with Grant Maxwell headlining proceedings.
EightyOneM launched this morning with plans to merge data and media in a post cookie world.
Maxwell said (via a PR release): “After five years immersed in the digital performance world, I’m stoked to be returning to the wider advertising community, reuniting with the amazing teams at EightyOne and DOT loves data, whose work I’ve been admiring for some time now.
“I’m looking forward to bringing a new perspective on advertising effectiveness, and having the powerhouse of the DOT team to draw from, plus the creative horsepower of EightyOne, all the pieces are there.
“I feel like a kid in a lolly shop.”
“Honestly, I feel like a kid in a lolly shop. I can’t wait to get stuck in.”
EightyOne MD Matt West said: “Grant was good enough to rent us our first office space at 81 Abel Smith Street in Wellington.
“That’s where our name comes from.
“EightyOneM will live the mantra of EightyOne in that good data will be powered by super creativity to deliver outstanding results.
“Grant is highly respected and is a great person. We look forward to what re-bundling will do for data, creativity and execution.”
