Stuff scores at Global Media Awards

AUCKLAND, Today: Stuff has picked up 13 finalist spots in the 2022 INMA Global Media Awards, many in the advertising categories. The International News Media Association (INMA) announced the finalists overnight with Stuff scoring more than any other NZ media organisation.

Stuff ceo Sinead Boucher said: “The strong showing in editorial, advertising and marketing categories, in what are the pre-eminent media awards globally, is great acknowledgment for Stuff’s world-class work.

“It’s wonderful to see recognition of our outstanding journalism including significant video and audio projects on climate change and inclusion, as well as our Impact Report and several of our innovative advertising solutions.

“These are all areas where we have pushed ourselves to innovate quickly or invest thoughtfully in high impact journalism and customer solutions.”

The Global Media Awards, which have been presented by INMA since 1937, received 854 entries from 252 news brands in 46 countries.

Stuff is a finalist in the following categories:

  • Best idea to encourage reader engagement, Best use of print (for Harvey Norman Boxing Day Delivery), Best use of video, Best use of audio
  • Best subscription niche product
  • Best idea to grow ad sales
  • Best multi-channel client advertising campaign (for Tipping Point)
  • Best new digital product
  • Best new product iteration
  • Best use of visual journalism and storytelling tools
