TVNZ partners with MediaWorks to give SMEs access to bundled advertising opportunities

TVNZ has joined forces with MediaWorks to offer the SME market greater access to its digital advertising inventory.

The new partnership sees the MediaWorks direct sales team represent TVNZ digital assets to advertisers in market, including 1 NEWS online video and display inventory and dynamically inserted ads in TVNZ OnDemand’s livestream. MediaWorks will have the ability to bundle these TVNZ assets alongside their audio, digital and outdoor assets for direct customers. 

MediaWorks’ direct sales team are based in 23 markets throughout Aotearoa and have strong networks in the regional communities they serve. Leveraging these relationships will enable TVNZ to connect with new customers who may not have considered the broadcaster’s advertising reach in the past – especially those with digital spend to place who are new to opportunities in the live streaming space.

TVNZ’s own direct sales team will continue to secure digital revenue opportunities with existing clients and those who wish to conduct comprehensive campaigns across TVNZ channels and platforms. Agency relationships will continue to be managed in house by TVNZ also.

The TVNZ and MediaWorks sales partnership commenced on 1 April.
