Media Campaign Manager / 70-80k / Auckland

Our client is a strategic brand agency with speciality in brand positioning and proposition development backed by excellent creative to then execute against a number of brand touchpoints, ranging from advertising to internal comms, identity design to website UX. They are looking for a Media Campaign Manager to join their team located in central Auckland.

This is a newly formed role, as requirements for this capability from clients have grown. You will have 2-3 years experience in media management, ideally in a larger agency environment. You will be proactive and comfortable with autonomy – this is their only dedicated media specialist – you will have plenty of support from experienced industry people and other digital experts, however will not have technical media support from within the organisation.

Key Skills required:

• Channel planning and buying of performance media (specifically Social, SEM and programmatic display) – this is a doing role
• Reporting and analysis of media data and insights
• Client facing presentations
• Values strategic, lateral thinking as well as pride in transactional excellence
• Comfort negotiating with media owners (on and offline)

This is a relatively small agency and they need to be able to flex within the role.  People thrive here when they are prepared to muck in and operate outside their core role.
