Stickman charms LA judge

LOS ANGELES, Wednesday: The guest judge at global Aussie site Best Ads on TV has labelled PAK’n SAVE New Zealand’s Stickman “a genius idea”.

Linda Knight, the Australian-born chief creative officer and president at Observatory California, chose Stickman as the runner-up in its Best Print section (won by Apple TV Call Me).


“I’m not familiar with this supermarket, but clearly New Zealanders are.”


“I’m not familiar with this supermarket, but clearly New Zealanders are,” she wrote, “ and if you know the spokesperson is a stick figure, then showing his little hand doing a high five is a genius idea.”

Knight is one of Business Insider‘s 30 Most Creative Women in Advertising, and one of the first international hires made by W+K and spent almost a decade working in the Portland and Amsterdam offices, predominantly on Nike.
