Tennis Auckland has announced that Go Media has signed on as the Out of Home media partner for the next three years to help promote the ASB Classic tennis tournament.
Go Media will also be taking an active role in helping fundraise for a multi-million dollar roof project.
Mike Gray, Managing Director of Go Media, says the ASB Classic is a standout event on the Auckland sports calendar.
“I was a top player in my youth and whilst a professional career didn’t happen for me, I’ve never lost my love of watching the game, especially if it’s from a courtside box,” he adds.
Tennis Auckland CEO Rohan West says Go Media’s digital network will help the organisation increase spectator numbers from out of the region, ultimately benefiting the local economy.
“They will also help us promote the sport locally and bring awareness to the fundraising efforts we have just started, to enable a roof to be built over Stanley Street, to ensure the long term future of the tournament for the next 100 years.”
