FCB & PAK’nSAVE revamp Stickman for Auckland Pride fest

AUCKLAND, Today: On Saturday, Ponsonby witnessed Stickman’s epic transformation for the Auckland Rainbow Parade. The iconic mascot paraded in a dazzling new persona, unlike anything seen before.

For the second consecutive year, Foodstuffs, PAK’nSAVE’s parent company, participated in the parade with a notable guest. Stickman transformed to show his support for the rainbow community, embracing a special role for the occasion.

Introducing Stick Queen, aka Isla Value, the budget-friendly queen from the house of Pak’n. Thanks to Ford Ponsonby, ‘Isla’ wowed the crowd in heels, presenting herself in a unique manner.

“Isla Value is a budget Queen from the House of Pak’n. And she came to PAK’nSLAY with you Auckland! Noone told me those tights would itch so much though.”

Foodstuffs North Island, proud of its Rainbow Tick certification, emphasises workplace inclusivity and diversity in sexuality and gender identities.

“Ultimately, we want everyone to have an inclusive employment experience. We aim to reflect and serve Aotearoa’s communities, celebrating our employees’ differences. Stickman was a perfect fit for this year’s plans,” says José Taiapa, Inclusion Manager at Foodstuffs North Island.
