AUCKLAND, Today: VMLY&R has bolstered its Auckland and Wellington bases with six recent appointments across creative, client service, social and digital.
Being welcomed to the Auckland team is senior art director Emma Watson, joining from Brave in London, reporting to ECD Kim Pick.
Pick said: “We are lucky to have Emma. We’ve worked together previously at Colenso – Emma has incredible talent and capability and as a senior creative has already been a major contributor to our clients.”
Also venturing back to New Zealand shores is account director Hanna Scott, from M&C Saatchi London and previously CHE Proximity Melbourne.
And Aimee Andrews joins the expanding client service team as account executive.
“Through the extensive interview process we were fortunate to meet this amazing group of talent.”
Strengthening the social arm is Evana Vulinovich, a senior social & content specialist, most recently with Stanley St.
Bringing further digital experience into the fold is full-stack developer Daniel English, stepping into agency life from software development company Trail CRM.
To manage the growing team and delivery, Jo Simpkins brings her significant experience across many agency disciplines, joining as creative services manager.
VMLY&R managing partner James Johnston said: “We’re putting a big focus into growing our capability with top talent found locally and abroad.
“The breadth of experience across the team is extraordinary and we value each and every one of our new and existing staff members. Through the extensive interview process we were fortunate to meet this amazing group of talent.
“And they’re a great bunch to now call family. Our wider team are thrilled to have new hands on deck with some great projects in play.”
