MT MAUNGANUI, Today: Wave Agency has bolstered its data-led digital offering in the Bay of Plenty and Auckland, following increased demand from its national and international client base.
Sarah Verkuylen (ex-Proximity, Colenso) has been recruited as head of digital in a new, Auckland-based role for the full-service agency.
She joins Wave’s digital team lead, Jessica Blake, who worked alongside her for four years within the BBDO group.
Wave MD Glenn Dougalsaid: “In this increasingly challenging market we knew we needed to do more to allow our clients to deliver on their brand goals swiftly, with more informed, insight-led creativity.
“Between us both, we hold 30 years of digital-marketing experience, and we’ve seen every trend out there.”
“It’s always been about a right-fit message or experience showing up at opportune moments for audience engagement – and by further leveraging data we can continue to deliver on that in a myriad of more sophisticated ways online.”
“Sarah has already embedded herself into the role and is excited to see what the team can achieve.”
Jessica Blake said: “It’s great to have Sarah join the Wave team. Between us both, we hold 30 years of digital-marketing experience, and we’ve seen every trend out there. We are just as passionate as each other about delivering real insights and lasting results.”
