AUCKLAND, Tuesday: Sky Sales has expanded its sales team with the appointment of Vaughan Lovell as business director. Lovell brings 10 years’ media agency and client-facing experience and is returning to his roots having worked at Sky prior to moving agency side.
A well-liked and respected media executive, he has a wealth of client service experience from his time at PHD, Carat/Dentsu and was most recently associate business director at MediaCom.
A key focus for Sky Sales is to increase its market presence and provide higher service levels to its advertising clients.

Sky’s newly appointed chief media and data officer Lauren Quaintance said: “Vaughan brings a real breadth of experience and has an in-depth understanding of the local market.
“We are thrilled to have him re-join the Sky Sales team as we look to realise the significant opportunity presented by our superb content and understanding of our customers.”
Vaughan Lovell said: “I’m thrilled to re-join Sky at such an exciting time on the eve of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup and the Rugby World Cup 2023 – both of which present unique opportunities for clients.”
Sky is currently recruiting for a head of advertising sales to lead the team in the new financial year.
Lovell rejoined Sky on May 8.
