VMLY&R has announced that it has retained the Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) account as the creative services lead, plus it has been appointed as their new media buying agency.
VMLY&R will be responsible for delivering behaviour change work to prevent injuries and increase understanding and trust of ACC. As part of this, the agency with a presence in Wellington, will be providing strategic media support and developing a strong brand with values that resonate with Kiwis.
As well as creative and strategic services lead, VMLY&R will advise and support ACC’s teams and partner service providers on the effective use of media.
“ACC reaffirmed VMLY&R recently as our creative partner and appointed the agency to provide media buying and planning services. In the last 18 months VMLY&R demonstrated their willingness to understand our complex needs, their commitment to a real partnership based on respect and high quality product delivery. We love their people, their attitude and their passion for our purpose of improving New Zealanders lives. They get us and in return we value them,” says Anna Symmans, Head of Customer Engagement at ACC.
ACC’s vision is to be a leader in health, safety and wellbeing across all aspects of peoples’ lives in Aotearoa by ensuring the work and play we engage in is healthy and safe for all involved, and that the wellbeing of all New Zealanders is supported.
“We’re looking forward to continuing our partnership with ACC and developing our relationship further with adding the media buying to our remit.
“We love working with clients that are challenging, treat us as partners, have huge ambitions and want to make a meaningful difference to Aotearoa. Plus, ACC is committed to improving the quality of life for all New Zealanders, and who wouldn’t want to be a part of that?” adds Fleur Head, Managing Director at VMLY&R.
