Special PR has announced two new hires to its growing team, reflecting the continued growth of the award-winning agency that was most recently crowned the PRINZ ‘Large PR Agency of the Year’.
Eleanor Ashdown (left) has come on board as Senior Account Director, with Jessica Walker (right) joining her as Account Manager within the agency’s newly expanded Consumer Business division. The pair will provide strategic PR solutions and management for clients including Kiwibank, Contact, New Zealand Trade & Enterprise and Datacom.
Ashdown joins Special PR from Herd MSL, with nearly a decade’s worth of experience as a communications consultant in the Corpsumer arena. Her knowledge gained across a wealth of sectors, agencies and clients allows her to deliver creative thinking and precision planning in a fast-paced environment.

Walker joins Special PR from Attivo PR (formerly Aruga), where her clients spanned FMCG, not-for-profit, retail and hospitality.

The pair will be working across a diverse range of accounts within the Consumer Business portfolio to help execute strategically focused, world-class PR campaigns. It marks an exciting period for rapid growth within the agency, which continues to go from strength to strength.
