One NZ and DDB introduce new mobile campaign

AUCKLAND, Thursday: One NZ and DDB Group Aotearoa have joined forces on a new mobile campaign, Mobile made for you (scroll down for the tvc link).

Katherine Kazalbash, head of marketing at One NZ, said: “The new campaign bucks the trend of showing the world in a hyper curated, rose-tinted way. Instead, One NZ is celebrating real; squinting at the incoming call, the mad scramble of early mornings, the forgotten presentation, ignoring the unknowing number, scrolling and how our phones fit with everyday life.

“The campaign reinforces why One NZ should be New Zealanders’ first choice for mobile.

“Our phones know us incredibly intimately; they see a side of us that no one else does. So, we’ve shown people’s lives from the phone’s point of view.”

DDB Group Aotearoa ECD Rory McKechnie said: “Our phones know us incredibly intimately; they see a side of us that no one else does. So, we’ve shown people’s lives from the phone’s point of view, capturing our protagonists at their most real and unfiltered.”

“Even though it’s a product spot and mobile devices are central to the overarching idea, we deliberately chose not to show the devices, instead we’ve let the view of everyday Kiwi lives tell the story.”

The platform launched last Sunday (3 September) and appears across TV, outdoor, digital, and social.
