Marketing and social media expert Zania Guy is delivering insights and opinions to the industry with her new podcast, Marketing Masters: The Art and Science of Modern Marketing.
A podcast that started due to Guy’s love of the industry and her passion for learning, each episode sees her chat with some of the most experienced marketing professionals in Aotearoa, including Adnan Khan, Anika Moa and most recently, The Monkeys founder, Justin Mowday.
“Marketing Masters was very much a passion project. I had no idea how to do a podcast and did it for the pure joy of finding out how to do something new and the opportunity to talk to some awesome practitioners in an industry I’m deeply passionate about,” says Guy.
Like most of the contributors to Marketing Masters so far, it was Justin’s first podcast experience, so it’s the first-time hearing what these New Zealand experts have to say in this long-form and relaxed medium, she adds.
“We’ve got some incredible talent in NZ, whether it’s a new perspective, or tool, there’s always something new to learn and wherever we go with the conversation, I always come away feeling inspired and I’m hoping listeners get a lot out of it too.”
As well as finding out what motivates some of New Zealand’s top marketers, hearing their views on strategy and lessons learned, Guy also wanted to demystify the future of marketing.
“AI is bringing a whole new world of possibility to our industry. I’m totally geeking out on the subject, so always make sure to bring it up as part of the conversation.”
Marketing Masters: The Art and Science of Modern Marketing is available for all to listen on Spotify, Apple and YouTube.
