PHD Aotearoa has collaborated with The Spinoff to launch a five-part podcast series.
The podcast features PHD’s cross-disciplinary experts speaking with The Fold podcast’s host and The Spinoff founder Duncan Greive to share perspectives on the evolving media, technology and advertising landscape.
The latest live recording brought on Rachel Bayfield, chief technology and innovation officer, Helen Brown, chief investment officer and James Davidson, chief strategy and planning officer.
The panel discussed the impact of generative AI on search, strategic media deals reshaping the market, audience fragmentation, fluctuations in media revenue and the outlook for 2026.
Insightful discussion
The series is the latest addition to PHD Aotearoa’s annual thought-leadership calendar, bringing clients and industry gurus together to share insights on audience behaviour, technology, innovation and the economic forces shaping our industry.
Abby Parkin, PHD Aotearoa’s CEO, says: “Duncan’s passion for the media industry is unmatched, making him the ideal partner for this collaboration with The Fold. Podcasts are proving to be the ideal platform for us to meaningfully unpack the pace of change and wave of innovation that is redefining our industry, in a way that reaches more marketers and business leaders.
“Special thanks to The Spinoff as well as our client partners who joined us, contributing insightful questions as part of the panel discussion.”
The remaining podcasts are still in production and will include familiar industry names and businesses.
