Google’s Brand Lift solution measures the moments that matter

Brand Lift Surveys:

While word of Brand Lift ads have been going around since 2011, they’ve become increasingly popular since late 2015.

“What is Brand Lift? YouTube engagement metrics (for instance, watch time, views, likes, shares, and comments) provide a basic barometer showing how an audience responds to videos. Brand Lift measures the direct impact your YouTube ads are having on perceptions and behaviors throughout the consumer journey.”

Brand Lift Surveys compare metrics and performance between two randomised group of users. One group is shown a video ad from the advertiser, and the other is not. Both these groups are shown a one-question survey one day later to see if they remember the ad, and how they perceive the brand. “Since the only effective difference between the two groups is whether they saw your ad, we can accurately determine the lift attributed to your campaign”
