The day has finally arrived. Google has announced that it will discontinue Swiffy, the tool that people use to convert .SWF Adobe Flash Files into HTML5, on July 1st. This means that Swiffy’s Flash Extension will stop working too.
This comes at the back of Google’s previous announcement that Flash Display ads cannot be uploaded on Adwords or DoubleClick from June 30th. Existing Flash Display ads will stop displaying on DoubleClick and the Google Display Network from January 2nd, 2017.
