AUCKLAND, Today: Very sad news as popular industry leader Andrew Scott passed away suddenly on Friday at his home in Auckland. Although health issues had caused him to retire early he refused to let them get him down.
He stayed as active as possible, socialising with many friends and colleagues from within and without the industry.
‘Scotty’, born in Wellington, worked in several agencies in New Zealand, Australia and the UK. His roles included General Manager of Saatchi and Saatchi Auckland, Managing Director of FCB Melbourne, and CEO of TBWA in both Melbourne and Auckland.
A funeral and celebration of his life will be held later this week in Auckland, details to follow. In keeping with his wishes this is not expected to be a sedate function.
